Congratulations to Nomeca Hartwell for her winning image: Seven Wood Storks

Nomeca Writes About Her Image:

Seven Wood Storks was assembled from 20 images of 1 Wood Stork flying around the Sandhill Crane access park in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. The original sky was just a plain blue and it greatly improved the image to use a beautiful morning sky from my days on Little Grayback Lookout. My Nikon D750 was set for1/1600 at f/14, Iso 800 ( shutter priority) using a 28-300 lens. There was a nice mix of herons ( blue and green), Anhingas, and Wood Storks in this little 24-hour park along a fishing and boating canal.

I love the sharing of images in our Wild Rivers Photography group, which meets 9 months of the year but is active year-round on Facebook. I have been a member for a long, long time, nearly 40 years, and we have some wonderful photographers who enjoy sharing their expertise.

Congratulations, Nomeca, on a beautiful image. Look for her image in the Courier soon.
